On behalf of our dedicated team of caring professionals, I would like to welcome you to Warde Senior Living in Windham, New Hampshire.
If you’re reading this, you may be considering short-term or long-term care for yourself, a beloved family member or a close friend. This can understandably be one of the most difficult, yet significant, decisions you’ll ever make. I was in your shoes when helping find the right short-term care option for my grandfather. Warde was the right fit for him.
Being part of a mission-based organization implies very important direction and detail to the way that we provide care, support and enrichment for our residents. It allows us to put one’s individuality at the forefront of all we do – focusing on each person’s preferences, wishes and own unique needs. It means understanding their routines and placing them at the center of their care plan. It means giving them control over how they will spend their day and live their lives, on their own terms.
It also means creating a true sense of community, one in which our residents are engaged, proud to be part of and have no hesitation in calling this “home.” Everyone is treated with the highest level of respect, integrity and compassion, and cared for like our own family members.
As one of our nurses’ aides once told me, “Working here feels like family, like I’m taking care of my own Grandma.”
Or this from a nurse: “I work here because nursing is my passion. And I’m proud to serve our amazing residents every day.”
It’s the staff and resident relationships that make Warde the home that it is.
